DO YOU QUALIFY?

Attention California residents! If you live in a high fire zone and are a medical baseline customer or have a groundwater well and meet low-income requirements, then you may qualify for a 100% rebate of home batteries, valued at $26,400 or more depending on your home’s needs, to backup your home when the power goes out. We proudly offer Tesla Powerwalls and Enphase Encharge home batteries.

To qualify, you must live in a Tier 2 or Tier 3 fire zone. Check the map here to see which zone you are in.

If you are in Tier 2 or Tier 3 fire zone, then you must meet only one of the below conditions to qualify:

Be a medical baseline customer
Have a groundwater well on your property and meet low-income requirements (your household income must be 80% or lower of your county’s median income)
Have other medical needs such as a CPAP machine, refrigerated medicine, etc.

If you are not in Tier 2 or Tier 3 fire zone but have experienced two or more Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) in the last 12 months, then you may still qualify if you meet one of the listed conditions above. Additionally, if you do not meet any of the qualifications but are still interested in backup power, there are other local incentives that you may qualify for. What is Medical Baseline?

Do you use a CPAP machine? Or have refrigerated medication? Do you rely on an electric scooter or hospital bed? If you or anyone in your household answered yes to any of these or have other medical needs that require electricity, you would qualify as a Medical Baseline Customer. This would not only qualify you for the fire zone rebate, but it would also give you a discount on your monthly energy bill.

If you do not think you meet any of the other qualifications, then not all hope is lost! There is a General Fund that offers approximately a $1,700 – $2,300 rebate per battery depending on your utility company. While you would not get the entire 100% rebate for your home batteries, it would offer some relief on payment and give you peace of mind when the next power outages begin.
